Today Dr. Daniel Prince, Ph.D., president, announced the expansion of the Microbiology department. "I am pleased with the opening of our new laboratory which dramatically increases the size of our facility. Gibraltar's laboratory is now about 12,000 square feet and can now provide expanded test services, contamination control, USP Microbial identifications, antimicrobial agents and irradiation microbiology. We are grateful to all of our customers and employees for helping make this new milestone possible.

In addition, I am pleased to announce that we have received our renewed accreditation by the American Association of Laboratory Accreditation pursuant to ISO 17025. Our scope of accreditation is available at ISO 17025 Scope of Accreditation.
